New to Crossfit?

Great! we are here to help you. at coast mountain Crossfit, we go through a simple 3 step process so you can be safe, comfortable, and up to speed with the training we do here.

Step 1

Consultation

this is a 20-30 minute sit-down talk where we get to know you, your goals, previous history and talk about next steps forward! everyones fitness journey is different so that’s why we spend the time to meet and talk to you so we can develop the best plan forward for you! this is free of charge.

Step 2

on-ramp sessions or Personal training

after your initial orientation, you will go through 3 on-ramp sessions (Or potentially something different, like personal training, based on our consultation).

This is so important to ensure you understand the movements in a 1-on-1 setting and set yourself up for success into the classes. we’ve seen it - individuals have way more success by doing the on-ramp first.

if we decide the on-ramp is the best route for you, In these classes you will work with a coach and they will teach you the foundational skills in Crossfit so you can be safe and comfortable with the bulk of the movements before joining classes. each intro class is 1 hour and starts with a warm up, teaching of skills, and finishes with a workout. we aim to get you through these 3 sessions in a week because 3x per week is the recommendation we give on how many times you should train per week to start to ensure good results but as well as proper recovery! if you require more sessions after the 3, we evaluate individuals case by case!

step 3

ready to join class!

after you have completed your orientation and your on-ramp sessions, you are ready to join the group classes! This way we aren’t throwing you in blind to the classes. you will have been taught the basic skills and how to do them properly, while meeting our coaches and seeing the facility beforehand.

We are welcoming drop ins! Head to our schedule and click any class you’d like to drop in. If you’re interested in getting a membership with us, sign up for a drop-in first and then if you want to get a membership afterwards we will refund you that drop-in fee.
